The Backstory
Homesick is what they call it! Yes, living in India for 24 years, it was really hard to get used to American culture and give up on those moments of Indian occasion, festivals, big fat wedding etc. But it was not just me, most of the Non resident Indians are sailing in the same boat. I was so glad to meet a lot of like minded people who adored and admired and were eager to still bring in the same moments that we used to back home. And that sparked an interest to start up with the new business with Indian products.
The name Sanskruthi is a combination of Santhosh (my husband) and Prakruthi (me). Sanskruthi in Sanskrit means Culture, and that is the reason of naming our store Sanskruthi Ethnics.
